Tools, Parts, and Materials Needed

• Valve cover gasket
• Breather cover gasket
• Valve shim tool
• Small flat blade screwdriver
• Large tweezers or small needle-nose pliers
• Feeler gauges (.03 to .10 mm or .0015 to .004 inch)
• Micrometer or digital caliper (.01mm accuracy needed)
• Valve shims, if needed.

The carbs should be synced while the tank and seat are off, even if no shims are changed. See the carb sync instructions for more.
